About Us
Background
Utunzaji foundation was established to intercept sexual violence and domestic violence in Uganda.
Utunzaji is a Swahili word which means care, usually when people hear the word “care”, they only envisage the post effect attention.
Utunzaji Fondation believes that equipping the community to fight and prevent sexual and domestic violence is a form of care which is way better than treating symptoms.
Utunzaji Foundation seeks to establish a Uganda where everyone is aware of sexual violence and domestic violence. We look to cause the community to drop a culture of complacency in the face of either sexual or domestic violence. We desire to provide justice to all the victims of sexual and domestic violence by preventing deals which forgive offenders.

Our Mission
To attain a Uganda where there is a consensus against all forms of sexual and domestic violence.
Our Vision
To push all concerned posts (community, police, judiciary and the entire government) into a consorted affront against all forms of violence against women and children by intercepting culprits, enlightening the concerned and safeguarding those most likely to be exposed.
